Q: What’s the difference between Jason Kozma’s High Performance Personal Training program and what other trainers provide?

A: 1. Most trainers train clients the same way they train themselves or all of their clients without any thought given to the uniqueness of the client’s body. Their thinking is “If it works for me, it’ll work for you.” Unfortunately, most trainers have been training for many years and do not know how to teach a client how to get in touch with their body and feel their muscles perform the exercises properly. For you to shape your body, you must be able to feel and control your muscles. This is called the mind-body connection. I can teach you this.

2. Most fitness trainers have their clients perform the same workout every time, over and over again, for months or even years. My clients enjoy an ever- evolving workout that varies as their bodies and needs change. I see the body as ever changing. My instruction is not constrained by a certain rote series of sets, reps, and exercises. My clients improve quickly and safely.*

Q: Why is Jason Kozma’s High Performance Personal Training program more effective than other personal trainer or gym’s fitness programs?

A: My program is a results – oriented program. It focuses on how you look in combination with your health, strength and well-being. Most fitness programs emphasize improvement in general fitness and “functional” strength, hoping this will create the desired body shape. More often than not, it doesn’t: you end up with oddly developed or an unchanged body and an unhappy client. My program is designed to reshape your body. You will gain strength, be healthier, and be much more fit. Together we will create the body you want to have.*

Jason is a competitive bodybuilder having won the following titles:

Mr. America, Mr. Muscle Beach, Southern States Champion, Tennessee Valley Champion, Kentucky Derby Champion.

Jason Kozma brings more than 20 years of experience to the fore to help you reach your bodybuilding goals. From bulking up to cutting down, Jason’s experience and knowledge will help you to get to the next level in the fastest and most efficient manner.

Jason has trained alongside legendary bodybuilders such as Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden, Chris Cormier, Gunter Schlierkamp, Melvin Anthony, Natural Mr. Universe Mike O’ Hearn, The Legendary Don Ross, and many others. Jason trained with Chris Cormier in 2004 for Chris’ victory at the San Francisco Pro and his controversial 2nd placing at the Arnold Classic. Jason’s current training partner is fitness model, powerlifter and 4x natural Mr. Universe Mike O’ Hearn. Mike played “Titan” on NBC’s “American Gladiators”.

Jason has worked with Marshall Faulk of NFL fame, Major League Baseball stars such as Hideo Nomo of the Los Angeles Dodgers as well as actors, models, CEOs, physique competitors and regular folk.

He has exceptional knowledge in the fields of bodybuilding, bodysculpting and sports specific training, nutrition, motivational techniques, as well as an extensive background in martial arts, holding a black belt in Wado-Ryu Karate.

Student athletes from UCLA, USC, local High Schools train with me and my High Performance Personal Trainers regularly for a competitive advantage and safe training environment.

I have created an integrated program utilizing strength training, sport-specific exercises, plyometrics, core and flexibility training to help you improve your performance in any sport: baseball, basketball, football, golf, martial arts, volleyball and any sport where strength, balance and explosive power are advantageous. Recommended 3 to 4 sessions per week.

Injuries? I and my team trainers know how to train around your injuries and facilitate the healing and prevention of common sports injuries such as knees, lower back, shoulders, and wrists.

I have trained numerous athletes involved in such sports as professional football, baseball, basketball, competitive skiing, swimming, surfing, cycling, volleyball, golf, race walking, marathon, triathlon, martial arts, boxing and obstacle course.

Being physically active and in shape has always been a part of my life. Building and maintaining a beautifully shaped and well-toned body requires dedication to a regimen of cardiovascular exercise and weight training; along with compliance to a healthy diet. After a couple unsuccessful meetings with trainers, who didn’t seem to have any knowledge in the competition world, I came across Jason Kozma. It was refreshing to meet someone who knew all about the Body Building World, how to train, eat and prepare. I had been wanting to train for a bikini division show for sometime and I needed some guidance on how to achieve the results I wanted. Jason assured me that we could get make it happen. He set a competition date that I would be ready for, and I was super motivated! Jason took into consideration my preferences and created a customized meal plan for me. He would tweak it every week depending on how well I was taking everything in. He would follow up with portion adjustments, added supplements, etc. The results came very fast! Jason Kozma is not for everyone. My experience with Jason is that he is all about results, and those results are achieved in direct relation to a client’s level of commitment. Jason utilizes both state-of-the-art training techniques as well as equally effective dietary guidelines, with both disciplines required for total body fitness and good health. Following an illness and major surgery in January of ’12, I went from 178 lbs. to 149 lbs.. and for 6 mo’s tried everything I could think of to put back muscle and weight, with little result. Then I started personal training with Jason, who radically changed my diet, with all healthy foods and supplements devoid of side effects, along with a strenuous 3-days per week training regimen, and I’m back up to 164 lbs. 4 years living in hotels, working way too hard and working out way too little had resulted in what I thought was an extra 10 – 15 pounds that I just couldn’t get rid of no matter what I tried.
