“My name is Larry and I have over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. I spent 2 of those years as a Fitness Director for Bally Total Fitness. Essentially, my job was to train and mentor neophyte personal trainers and keep the personal training department fresh, exciting, and on the cutting edge. I taught my personal trainers how to use the newest fitness equipment and incorporate the latest personal training techniques. In college, I studied kinesiology. I am also a certified kickboxing instructor and I have extensive knowledge about the knees, ankles, neck, and lower back. I have been trained in the correction of all major postural distortions. My experience as a competitive bodybuilder has also made me an expert in weight loss, building muscle, and shaping specific areas of the body. When I competed in 2007 and 2008 I weighed between 190-198 pounds with a bodyfat percentage of 4% (caliper test). I can work with athletes to improve, power, agility, coordination, speed strength, and balance.
I have also worked with children, elderly, and large groups. If you have a physical injury, such as tendinitis, chondromalacia, plantar fasciitis, bulging discs, etc, I will customize your program to be both safe and effective. If you have a physiological limitation such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, etc, I have experience working with these limitations as well.Your personal training sessions with me will be both fun and informative. My attention to detail is what sets me apart from the bunch. I will make sure you know the “how” as well as the “why” behind each and every exercise we do. I am very patient and encouraging.
